Dr. Kaur is a Northwest native. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Washington in 2007. Dr. Kaur then moved to Philadelphia to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Dr. Kaur completed an ocular disease residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center where she became a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
She was also on staff at the Cleveland VA Hospital while serving as an adjunct faculty at the Illinois College of Optometry and The Ohio State College of Optometry. She has published several articles in well-respected journals. Dr. Kaur has received extensive training in diagnosing and managing sight-threatening ocular diseases, ocular emergencies, and co-managing surgical procedures. Dr. Kaur is residency and fellowship-trained and specializes in medical optometry, a distinction that only about 10% of optometrists have achieved.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Anaya, and two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and hiking.

She is looking forward to getting involved in the Renton community and building lasting relationships with her patients. She focuses on myopia management, management of chronic medical conditions, eye emergencies, and is also a dry eye specialist.
